Practical Advice on Trust-based Discipline

Managing your child's difficult behavior can be overwhelming, especially if it's a constant battle. It can help to take a step back from the fray.

Understand that when children aren't behaving well on the outside, they may not be feeling well on the inside. Also realize that you don't need to choose between keeping a strong connection with your child and reining in bad behavior.

Join Dafna Lender, LCSW, Clinical Director of The Theraplay Institute, as she returns to provide her expert advice on:

1. Why children misbehave

2. Why traditional discipline techniques often miss the mark

3. How you can promote connection and trust while addressing troubling behavior
